"I loved to bake"

Renee was a sweet little girl with big brown eyes and a gentle soul that lit up every room. She loved reading, coloring, baking with her mom, and playing dress-up—always coming out of her room in a new outfit. Renee adored her big family and spent endless hours playing with her friends Pauly, Kambel, and Katie, riding bikes, skipping rope, and drawing with chalk. Her love for life and unconditional love as a daughter are what we hold closest. She is forever missed and loved beyond words.

"I loved Spiderman"

Pauly was a little boy with a heart full of love and a spirit for adventure. He adored his siblings and found the greatest joy in exploring the world with them. But Pauly’s kindness truly showed when his big sister cried—he’d hug her tight and wouldn’t let go until she was smiling again. Spiderman was his hero, but to those who knew him, Pauly was the real superhero. He loved A Bug’s Life, finding wonder in the small, everyday things. His caring nature and gentle hugs are what we’ll remember most.

"I loved Winnie the Pooh"

Kambel was a gentle soul with a quiet strength. Though shy at first, once she felt safe, she blossomed into someone who made everyone feel included. She didn’t want anyone to feel left out and was always the first to offer a hand or a kind word. Kambel’s love for Winnie the Pooh reflected her own tender heart—she was always looking for ways to spread joy and make others feel good. She found happiness in seeing others smile. The way she made people feel seen and valued is her lasting gift to the world.

For Barrie, Ontario Kids in Need

Through Gift-a-Family, we aim to reach children who have been overlooked by traditional charities because their parents are unable, unwilling or incapable of seeking help. We identify these 'forgotten' children through an anonymous nomination process where community members like coaches, teachers, extended family, friends, etc can nominate kids so we can give them a full Christmas experience.

Everything from the tree and decorations, to the dinner, gifts, stockings and more - showing them that they are just as worthy of joy and celebration as anyone else to help boost their self-esteem.

100% of proceeds go directly to children in the Barrie, Ontario area.
